My Life: My name is Brad Landis. I'm a Computer Science major at Lubbock Christian University in Lubbock, TX. The picture is from my senior year (2003-2004).
Christianity: I am a member of the Church. I believe in the Bible as the one source for true Christianity. I'm in no way perfect, but I strive daily to improve on my faith and Christianity. My career goal is to use my knowledge of Computers to be able to reach out to the lost.
Alero: I drive a 2004 Oldsmobile Alero. I bought it around September 2004. It's been a great car.
Computers: I started making webpages in the 7th grade. I've always done them by hand (no Frontpage or the like). My specialty in computers has become PHP in the last few years. See my computer portfolio.

Pretty cool
Just wanted you to know that I looked at your websites today. You can really tell that you worked hard on them! They were also really easy to navigate! I'll ttyl! -Ashley
Your site fails validation!
I'm surprised that a Computer Science major who has been developing web pages from an early age doesn't know that web sites should be validated by validator.w3.org, to ensure that they comply with common web standards and that they present properly in various browsers. The retail store site that you've built doesn't even have a Doctype specified!
Tsk tsk tsk.

Fixing
Thanks for noticing that. I just fixed almost everything, but there still may be a few pages that need more work. I try to make sure everything looks good on both IE and Firefox, but sometimes I forget to validate.
validation?
it's not your web pages he wanted validated.
he just wanted to be rude to you because he hates Christ in you for now.
remember, it's never you.
It's Christ Spirit in you that man hates, until he can hear the call and answer in repentance.
They all think we are nuts because these days were meant to come upon us.
Just hang in there buddy.
Serve your true master.
Never fail.
Never turn away the stranger.
remember that.
Take care and I'll see you when you get there.
Patrick
validation?
Ridiculous
What does Christ have to do with HTML and web page validation?
Nothing
(Nice webpage, by the way, don't care really if it validates or not, it looks neat)
(I'm agnostic... by the way)
I'm not really sure what
I'm not really sure what Christ has to do with validation...
Anyways, thanks for the nice comments.
Validation isn't a panacea
Validation, schmalidation... They're only guidelines anyway. Google doesn't validate, and they seem to be doing pretty well. I wouldn't lose sleep over a rude imbecile with an axe to grind.
Old Pictures
That's a pretty old picture of your car. That was when Mike lived next door. Can't wait till ya'll get here so I can play your guitar. By the way, nice website.
Your B7 Theme
Hi Brad,
I am impressed by the simplicity of your B7 Blue theme. I have implemented it on my future "Student Network" of podcasts and videocasts (for my school). I am confused by one thing, though. If you look at the front page of your site, and the bottom "Submitted By" line of the story, why is there a large space between the [ and the actual category/term name? For example
[ Card Games ]Can you tell me where I can correct that in the code? I have looked through the two css files, and the node.tpl file too... I don't see any thing that matches something that I can change.
Again, thanks for sharing your theme... and I hope you can get back to me. Jamie, Technology Teacher, CT
